After a morning and afternoon practice session on Tuesday, the Los Angeles Lakers summer league squad was back at the hardwood on Wednesday, getting in another practice before they head to Las Vegas on Thursday. Forward Julius Randle even got in on the action, despite not being on the summer league roster, partaking in five-on-five scrimmaging after practice.
In the scrimmage footage above, Randle plays alongside No. 2 draft pick Brandon Ingram while D’Angelo Russell, Larry Nance, Jr. and Anthony Brown highlight the opposing team. No. 32 draft pick Ivica Zubac sat out of practice, but will travel with the squad to Vegas and is expected to play in summer league.
Nance, Jr. and Russell both raved about Ingram’s abilities after just a couple days at practice. So, who won the scrimmage? You’ll just have to watch the footage to find out.
