With Christmas just around the corner, ABC7 Los Angeles had a little fun with the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers were asked to name Santa’s Reindeers and one player had a little trouble naming them. Pau Gasol seemed to have had one of the reindeer names confused calling the famed Rudolph, “Rufus,” which is not one of Santa’s Reindeer.
On Christmas Day, the Lakers will be taking the floor as they host the reigning NBA Champion Miami Heat. Playing on Christmas Day has become a tradition for the Lakers, but they have not been as successful as Lakers fans would have liked. Although the Lakers are not considered the contenders they have been in the past, seeing the league’s two biggest superstars in LeBron James and Kobe Bryant battle it out will definitely be a treat for NBA fans.
