Lakers Nation reporter Serena Winters:

The injury doesn't seem like anything serious, but with the Lakers' luck with injuries in recent years, everything is always troubling.

Johnson has started every game for the Lakers this season and is second on the team in minutes per game, trailing only Kobe Bryant. While he has struggled with consistency on offense, he is still the team's best perimeter defender and had picked up his game recently.

With Johnson out, Wayne Ellington was inserted into the lineup to start the second half. It will be interesting to see what move Byron Scott makes as Kobe Bryant will also not travel with the Lakers to take on the Portland Trail Blazers.

Rookie Jordan Clarkson is likely to see some minutes on Monday, while Ryan Kelly could also see some time at the small forward position. Scott has always maintained that he prefers Nick Young to come off the bench, but that might need to change when the Lakers play the Blazers.
