The Los Angeles Lakers have started the 2014-15 NBA season with numerous injuries and four straight losses against Western Conference playoff contenders. With this being the worst start in franchise history since the 1957-58 season, many are wondering if there needs to be changes in the starting lineup already.

Following another blowout loss to the Golden State Warriors, head coach Byron Scott was asked if he would consider making changes via Los Angeles Daily News’ Mark Medina:

Through four games, Carlos Boozer and Wesley Johnson have struggled as starters while Ed Davis has been the team’s second best player. Although Davis should receive more minutes, Scott is unlikely to make any drastic rotation changes this early into the season and will give his players more chances to find a rhythm in their current roles.

With Steve Nash and Julius Randle out for the entire season, the Lakers are waiting for Nick Young and Ryan Kelly to return to improve their bench depth. Kelly is expected to begin practicing on Monday while Young is no longer wearing a cast for the torn ligament in his right thumb.
