Lakers News: Bryant and Bynum Still Leading in Second Ballot Return

The second All-Star ballot returns have been released and as of this point, two Los Angeles Lakers players will be in the starting five for the Western Conference. Kobe Bryant is leading the way with 1,110,379 votes for the West guards and it seems as though Clipper Chris Paul will be joining Kobe in the back-court.

As for Lakers’ center Andrew Bynum, he leads all Western Conference centers with 777,365 votes. Bynum’s only competition comes from Clippers big man DeAndre Jordan who has 214,883 tallies.

Bryant has the most All-Star votes of all Western Conference players and the only person who has racked up more is Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard (1,161,797).

Voting for the All-Star starters will conclude on January 31st and the results will be announced live on TNT on Feb. 2 prior to a double-header.

Kobe Bryant and Andrew Bynum need more votes to solidify their places in the 2012 All-Star game, so make sure you VOTE before it is too late.
