Kaman On D’Antoni: ‘We Have To, As Players, Respect The Position As Coach’

There have been a number of players who have voiced frustrations with coach Mike D’Antoni. Both Chris Kaman and Pau Gasol have spoken their mind in regards to issues with his style and rotations.

Despite being unhappy at times with his spot in the rotation, Kaman is a veteran in this league, and according to Lakers Nation reporter Serena Winters, understands that all players must respect the coach:

This statement is simply more proof that Kaman has been in the league for a long time, and understands what needs to happen for a team to be successful.

His play as of late has been excellent and he continues to show that he has plenty left in the tank to contribute to a team.

He has been out of the rotation for most of the season, due to a number of different reasons, but despite his obvious frustration, he never loses sight of how a player should conduct himself.

Even though Kaman and D’Antoni don’t speak on a regular basis, he knows where he stands in the aspect of the team and will not overstep his boundaries in regards to respect to his coach.
