The Lakers were able to put an end to their losing ways Friday night by rallying to a 101-92 win against the Boston Celtics. New Laker addition, MarShon Brooks, led the charge early in the fourth quarter by scoring the Lakers’ first three baskets. Kent Bazemore, who was also acquired in the Steve Blake trade, made his Laker debut and provided the Lakers with some much needed defensive intensity. The addition of the healthy bodies coupled with acquisition of Brooks and Bazemore could serve as a spark to help the Lakers remain competitive in games during the second half of the season. The Lakers face a tough schedule for the rest of the season and there still remains some hope that the Lakers could develop some chemistry going into the offseason.
