Lakers Nation Wishes A Happy Birthday To Xavier Henry

Today marks Lakers guard Xavier Henry’s 23rd birthday. In his first season with Los Angeles, Henry is having the best season of his career and is proving himself as an NBA player. Despite a right knee injury that kept him out of the game for nearly two months, he has still managed to be a force on the court despite the Lakers tumultuous season. On the season so far, Henry is averaging 9.7 points per game in 38 games played.

Many Lakers fans’ favorite moment of Henry is undoubtedly his demoralizing dunk on Pelicans’ Jeff Withey at Staples Center this past November. This poster definitely will be thrown into the “Dunk of the Year” conversation.

Although the Lakers have officially been knocked out of playoff contention, the Lakers organization and fans are looking forward to seeing the young guard continue to develop his game.

Here at Lakers Nation, we wish Xavier Henry a wonderful birthday.
