With the college basketball season officially coming to an end, the attention has turned to the upcoming 2014 NBA Draft on June 26 and the players that will leave school.

Although Andrew Wiggins, Joel Embiid, Marcus Smart and Dante Exum have already decided to enter the draft, potential number one overall pick, Jabari Parker, is still on the fence about leaving Duke.

On Friday morning, Parker made an appearance on ESPN 710 with Mark Willard and Mychal Thompson to talk about his plan moving forward. Parker made it clear that he’s still undecided, but did say something interesting about potentially being a Laker according to Lakers Nation reporter Serena Winters:

If Parker does leave Duke after one season, the rising star could get selected first overall pick. It appears to be a two-man race for the top pick between Wiggins and Parker, but many believe Parker could be the most NBA-ready player.

According to the latest mock draft by MyNBADraft.com, Parker will go second overall to the Philadelphia 76ers while the Los Angeles Lakers will have the sixth pick and could go with Aaron Gordon of Arizona.

Needless to say, Parker’s decision will impact the entire landscape of the upcoming 2014 NBA Draft and which player will be headed to Los Angeles.
