As the seventh pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, Julius Randle got himself a pretty nice sized contract. After spending last year at the University of Kentucky, Randle is undoubtedly looking forward to getting paid to play basketball this year, as are most rookies.
During the rookie symposium, Bleacher Report asked a number of rookies what they would get with their first check. Most of the answers were what you would expect from guys in this position. Numerous rookies spoke about getting their living situation handled, or getting themselves or family a new car. But Julius Randle is ahead of the game.
In the interview, Randle revealed that he has already bought his dream car:
Yea I already kinda got my dream car. I got a Porsche Panamera. All black.
Not a bad choice in cars at all for the rookie. The starting price for the Porsche is around $78,000 so it definitely didn’t come cheap.
As long as his game on the court matches his car, the Lakers should be very happy with their choice.
