Returning from two consecutive season-ending injuries, Kobe Bryant was asked about the Thunder superstar’s injury following the Lakers’ 116-75 loss to the Warriors according to Lakers Nation reporter Serena Winters:

In his first five seasons in the NBA, Durant has only missed six games and has led the NBA in games, minutes and points. After winning his first Most Valuable Player award last season, it will be interesting to see if the Thunder will be able to stay competitive in the Western Conference with Durant likely out for some time.

Over the past season, Durant has been extremely complimentary of Kobe calling him the “greatest of all-time” and even defending him on Twitter. There is a mutual respect between the two players and with Durant facing his first major injury of his career, the five-time champion is offering some advice through his recent experiences.
