VIDEO: Kobe ‘Wouldn’t Be Shocked’ If Lakers Win Next Two Games

The Los Angeles Lakers finally ended their losing streak with a win over the Charlotte Hornets in their sixth game of the season on Sunday night. Jeremy Lin and Kobe Bryant led the Lakers with 21 points a piece, while Jordan Hill had a career-high seven assists. Ed Davis was a big contributor off the bench, shooting 5-5 from the field for 10 points and five rebounds.

After the game, Kobe Bryant said he hoped the Lakers would continue to improve playing off the ball:

There are certain things we need to improve on, not standing around and watching when Boozer has the ball in the post, and when I have the ball and Jeremy has the ball, but moving, setting picks for each other off the ball. The tests just get harder and harder.”

Bryant also said he “wouldn’t be shocked” if the Lakers win their next two games on the road, despite them being against tough opponents, Memphis Grizzlies and New Orleans Pelicans. On whether or not too much has been made of the Lakers five-game losing streak to start the season, Bryant said:

I don’t know. I don’t really listen too much. But, a team goes 0-and-5, a lot should be made of it.”
