VIDEO: Kobe, Jeremy Lin, Byron Scott Talk About Lakers Problems

In the Los Angeles Lakers 21-point loss to the Golden State Warriors Sunday night, Bryant took 34 shots through three quarters, finishing with 44 points. In the first quarter, Bryant had 17 of the Lakers 23 points. After the game, Bryant said he feels a big responsibility to keep the Lakers in games.

I just try to keep us in the game. Can’t just sit back and watch crime happen right in front of you,” Bryant said referring to the Warriors easy runs during the game.

After the game, Carlos Boozer said although Bryant was focused to score and be aggressive, the rest of the team couldn’t get in a rhythm. Jeremy Lin said the team needs to work on their communication, trust and effort. Bryant didn’t think trust was an issue.

Lakers head coach Byron Scott says although he’s not worrying about offense, with Bryant they need to find a happy medium.

He feels if guys are getting it done or looking to be aggressive, then he’ll kinda step back. There’s times where he feels he has to be aggressive. It is a double-edged sword, so to speak. We have to find that happy medium. But like I said, that’s the least of my worries right now.”

Scott’s worries were of course focused on the defensive end, especially in transition and the 54 points they gave up in the paint.

The Lakers hop on a plane Monday morning before embarking on a three-game road trip to Atlanta, Houston and Dallas.
