With the NBA Draft and free agency the current focus for the Los Angeles Lakers, EA Sports recently released the gameplay trailer for NBA LIVE 16, which is set to be distributed in September. In the first trailer, many familiar faces were shown such as NBA All-Stars Lebron James, Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, Derrick Rose and John Wall.

Although the Lakers have undeniably dropped in the team’s overall rating over the last few years, their own Nick Young was featured in the trailer in what looks like a Lakers/Celtics rivalry matchup where Young is trotting back the floor after hitting a three in a very ‘Swaggy P’ fashion.

Young, who is coming off a knee fracture that caused him to miss the last 27 games of the 2014-15 season, has had an intriguing off-season after proposing to longtime girlfriend and rap sensation, Iggy Azalea on his 30th birthday.

As for the game, the NBA LIVE series is back for the third straight year with NBA LIVE 16, after canceling their releases from 2011-13. This year’s features include GameFaceHD scanning tech to ‘put you in the game like never before,’ more control in the pick-and-roll and LIVEMotion, a physics-based player movement system created by EA Sports that took over two years to create.
