After beating the Golden State Warriors Monday night, the Los Angeles Lakers are undefeated through three games at NBA Summer League and are headed to the winner’s bracket. D’Angelo Russell exploded for 22 points in the first half and finished with 26 points to go along with five rebounds, two steals, an assist and four turnovers.

Summer League head coach Jesse Mermuys explained why the coaching staff is attempting to rein Russell in a bit to best fit into Luke Walton’s system and how much he appreciates what a “coachable” player Russell has been throughout summer league. Anthony Brown, who finished with eight points and two assists compares playing with Russell last year to his progression this summer and talks about what he’s been trying to show the coaching staff.

Brandon Ingram had seven points, all of which came at the free throw line, and wasn’t able to knock down a field goal (0-5), but discusses his focus on trying to impact the game in other ways when his shots aren’t falling. Check out all of the post-game interviews below, including Ivica Zubac.
