The Los Angeles Lakers had an impressive start to this year’s NBA Summer League, coming out of the gates 3-0 with the debuts of Brandon Ingram and Ivica Zubac and the return of D’Angelo Russell, Larry Nance Jr. and Anthony Brown. Get geared up for what the next era of Lakers basketball has in store as we take a look back at all the game-by-game Lakers highlights from the summer.

Zubac, the No. 32 pick out of Croatia, largely a mystery to Lakers and NBA fans, far exceeded expectations when he stepped out on the court for the first time. Through five games, Zubac averaged 10.6 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game, despite not having participated in a full practice until the start of summer league.

Ingram, the Lakers No. 2 pick, averaged 12.2 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game and closed on a high note in his final summer league matchup against the Utah Jazz. With Russell and Nance, Jr. sidelined, Ingram found his stride, finishing with 22 points (9-13), five rebounds and four assists in his 32 minutes. Watch all of our game-by-game highlights below and check back Saturday morning for our best of Brandon Ingram and Sunday for our best of Ivica Zubac.
