Lakers Video: Rashad McCants States Kobe Bryant Is Greatest Player Of All-Time
Kobe Bryant On Michael Jordan Comparisons: ‘my 37 Isn’t Mj’s 37’

Los Angeles Lakers five-time champion Kobe Bryant was a deadly competitor and unstoppable force on the court during the prime years of his 20-year career. Bryant gave the game of basketball everything he had, leaving it all on the court and providing countless spectacles.

Bryant is referred to as the heir apparent to Michael Jordan, taking over where Jordan had left off. The two greatest shooting guards of all-time had somewhat of a relationship during their overlapping careers, with Jordan joking multiple times with Bryant during All-Star games.

Former University of North Carolina guard Rashad McCants made an appearance on the ‘The Herd With Colin Cowherd’ on Friday, discussing Bryant and his place in comparison to Jordan with Jason Whitlock. After taking a second to gather his thoughts, McCants confidently stated that Bryant is better than Jordan and the best of all-time:

McCants opposed Bryant during the peak of his career, with McCants playing in the NBA from 2005 to 2009. The former shooting guard stated that Bryant was able to elevate what Jordan had created, while confidentially exclaiming that Bryant is a better offensive player.

The Bryant-Jordan comparison seems like a never-ending debate, with generations torn between the dominance of each respective player. NBA players tend to agree with McCants that Bryant is somewhat of a reincarnation of Jordan. Memphis Grizzlies guard Vince Carter stated that Bryant is the closest comparison to Jordan, while Bryant himself talked about emulating the six-time champion.

During his four-year career, McCants averaged 10.0 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists, spending time with the Minnesota Timberwolves and Sacramento Kings.
