The Los Angeles Lakers are are one of the most popular sports teams on earth with a massive fan base around the world. The players are some of the most beloved anywhere and that is especially the case now with Luka Doncic and LeBron James, two international superstars, at the forefront.

The Lakers do a lot of things in order to give back to the community and treat their fans and one of the organization’s biggest partners is UCLA Health. In fact, the Lakers’ practice facility is called the UCLA Health Training Center.

The Lakers and UCLA Health recently came together in order to surprise some patients at one of their hospitals as they were able to spend time with James, Doncic and the rest of the team while recovering, and also receiving some Lakers merchandise:

These kinds of moments are truly priceless and are memories that will be cherished for life. The looks on these patients faces as they see James walk inside their room show just how special it is to just have that time and be able to speak with them.

The child being able to interact with Doncic was beautiful as well and Luka getting him to draw something on his shirt was beautiful and that is something that will stick with the Lakers star as well. For as amazing as it is for the patients, these interactions can also be truly special for the athletes.

The partnership between the Lakers and UCLA Health is a wonderful one that allows for so many wonderful things to be possible for so many people. Being able to meet and interact with LeBron and Luka is something that none of these patients will ever forget.

Luka Doncic encouraged by Lakers’ defense after win over Timberwolves

Luka Doncic is still very locked in on what the Lakers are doing on the court and the team is currently playing their best basketball of the season. The team followed up a strong performance against the New York Knicks with another excellent win over the Minnesota Timberwolves and Doncic was very encouraged by the team’s defensive effort, speaking about the improved effort and communication that is making a difference.
