While the Lakers prepare to play the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday night there have been rumblings in the Twitterverse about a possible Pau Gasol trade.
It’s just one tweet, but it comes from Roland Lazenby, who has been close to the Lakers organization for many years, so he is as credible of a source as you’re going to get.
It seems we’ll soon be getting news that Gasol has been traded. No details confirmed, but he’s apparently gone.

While other writers quickly checked with their sources to see what the deal was, nothing has been confirmed or denied at this point.
This is still purely speculation, but when such a report comes from a source as well-connected as Lazenby, it usually has some legs. For now, however, we will simply have to wait and see.
