Lakers Forward Jordan Hill Injures Right MCL

Los Angeles Lakers forward Jordan Hill, who was acquired in the Derek Fisher trade with the Houston Rockets, has reportedly suffered an MCL injury in his right knee.

According to Kevin Ding of the O.C. Register, Hill suffered a sprained MCL in his right knee, which has been a consistent issue for him this season.

Hill hurt the knee Friday — following up spraining the MCL back on Feb. 18 while with Houston and missed three weeks because of it. The recent injury with the Lakers is not as severe, and although Hill is termed questionable by the club for Tuesday night vs. Golden State, there was hope he could play if needed.

Hill hasn’t received much playing time since joining the Lakers on the trade deadline. Coach Mike Brown has been intent on giving Hill’s potential minutes to Troy Murphy and Josh McRoberts. In fact, according to Ding, he has played just three minutes and 12 seconds for the Lakers this season.
