Steve Nash Talks New-Look Lakers, Dwight Howard and Miami Heat

A new championship dynasty might be on the horizon for the Los Angeles Lakers with a combination of superstars that may be able to lead the team to multiple NBA titles in the near future.

With Steve Nash, Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol and Dwight Howard all on the roster for the Lakers next season, Los Angeles will be an intimidating place to play for all opponents headed to the Staples Center during the 2012-13 NBA season.

After signing a three-year deal with the Lakers, Nash believed his chances to compete for that elusive championship had just been given a huge boost with an opportunity to win the first ring alongside Kobe and Gasol. Now that Howard has also been dealt to Los Angeles, many believe that the Lakers could be the team to beat next season.

Even though Nash is confident the Lakers will be a force to be reckoned with moving forward, the two-time NBA MVP isn’t jumping to conclusions and knows a lot of work must be done to turn this team into a perennial title contender.
