Antawn Jamison Credits ‘Sense of Urgency’ for Recent Success

The Los Angeles Lakers notched their 36th win on Sunday night against the Sacramento Kings, and for the first time this season, the Lakers are four games above .500.

Los Angeles has gone 11-3 since the All-Star break and have opened up a one game lead over the Utah Jazz for the eight seed in the Western Conference. However, the Lakers are creeping up on the Houston Rockets and they are only a half game out of the seventh spot in the standings.

The Lakers have completely turned their season around and forward Antawn Jamison told Time Warner Sports that an increased sense of urgency is to credit for the improvement.

The Lakers will be back on the court Monday night to face the Phoenix Suns, and based on the way the team played against the Kings, it should have no problems getting another win.

There is a chance the Kobe Bryant misses another game, but the bench has proven that it can fill the void while the star is recovering from injury. Even though no one wants Bryant to be sidelined, his absence is giving much needed opportunities to many of the Lakers players.
