Post-Game Videos: Lakers React After Last Game Of The Season

The battered up Lakers were swept by the San Antonio Spurs in the first round of the NBA Playoffs Sunday night. Check out what the head coach and team had to say after finishing up their worst postseason performance in franchise history.

Mike D’Antoni talked about the performance of Dwight Howard and Pau Gasol this season. He also opened up about regrets and what will be different next year.

Dwight Howard was ejected after racking up his second technical when he complained about a foul not being called on the Spurs. While Dwight was being escorted off the court, many thought it appeared that Dwight may have had an exchange of words with Lakers GM Mitch Kupchak. Here’s what Dwight Howard and Mike D’Antoni had to say about his ejection. Plus, Dwight answers questions about whether or not he had an exchange with Kupchak.

With this being the last Lakers game of the season, Dwight Howard vaguely addressed questions about free agency and his future with the organization.

Pau Gasol addressed questions about his own future with the Lakers, which he knows is uncertain. He also talked about the reason behind him not feeling comfortable to stand up vocally this season.

Metta World Peace might have had the most interesting and insightful comments about what he would change about this past season. Metta said that both Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol needed to step up in a more vocal leadership role, rather than hand everything over to Dwight Howard.
