With the news surrounding Phil Jackson and the release of his latest book, Eleven Rings: The Soul of Success, a lot has been made of what Jackson will say about Kobe Bryant after he wasn’t very forgiving in his last book, The Last Season: A Team In Search of Its Soul. However, since then Bryant and Jackson have won two more championships together, and seemingly buried the hatchet.

With an excerpt of the book being released today, Kobe took to Twitter to post an old picture of him and his former coach, and briefly mentioned how their relationship has been repaired and is better than ever.

Bryant has matured tremendously over the years, which is something Jackson has alluded to in his book.

With rumors swirling over whether or not Jackson will return to the NBA, particularly to the Lakers, a good relationship between himself and Bryant is a crucial element.

Jackson’s book is set to be released on May 21, 2013. For more information you can also attend a town hall-style meeting with Jackson where he will discuss his memoir.
