Farmar talked about his anticipation of playing in Mike D’Antoni’s system, where he thinks he’ll be able to have more freedom and contribute more than he did with Phil Jackson’s Triangle offense. He talked about his improved ability with pick-and-roll sets, but is still focused on helping the team first and foremost.

Farmar stated how his game has improved and that he has grown as a player with his experience of playing overseas. This includes having more of a defensive mentality, which will be crucial for the Lakers next season.

While Jordan is not aiming to take Nash’s spot by any means, he can further he game much more from learning and watching Nash. One thing is for certain, Farmar is thankful to be back in purple and gold, and the fans are looking forward to watching how he can help the Lakers on the court.
