With college football finally getting back into full swing this weekend, we took the liberty to ask Lakers Nation who their favorite football team was. With the Lakers being in Los Angeles, the two most popular options were USC with 30 percent of the vote and UCLA with 20 percent of the vote.
Ohio State, Oregon, Alabama and Texas followed the schools from Southern California with teams like Notre Dame, Florida State, Cal, and Michigan also receiving a few votes.
For those who are football fans, this is a great time of the year with college football underway and the NFL’s kickoff game coming up this Thursday when the Broncos host the defending Super Bowl champion Ravens.
In just under two months, the NBA will get underway and we as basketball fans will have the opportunity to be excited about our season starting back up.
