Lakers News: Wesley Johnson Suffers Left Foot Injury Against Nuggets

New comer Wesley Johnson suffered a strained left foot in the second preseason game against the Denver Nuggets on Sunday night according to Lakers Nation reporter Serena Winters:

Johnson suffered the strained left foot in the first half against the Nuggets and was checked out by the Lakers training staff while on the bench. Unfortunately, the injury was sever enough to keep him out the rest of the game.

With Johnson out for the rest of the contest, the Lakers coaching staff will likely go with Elias Harris and Marcus Landry more in the second half. Starter Nick Young will likely also see extended minutes as the result of Johnson’s foot injury.
