Video Play Of The Game: Wesley Johnson’s Block On Ty Lawson

In the Lakers 111-99 loss to the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday night, Lakers forward Wesley Johnson recorded five blocks to go along with 10 points and five rebounds. His block on a Ty Lawson layup attempt with just over six minutes left in the third quarter was our choice for Play of the Game.

The Nuggets had a four-on-two fast break opportunity and Lawson tried to take it past guard Steve Blake en route to an easy layup opportunity, except Johnson came flying in from behind the play to block the shot and send it into the crowd. The block was Johnson’s fourth of the game.
