Kobe Bryant has played only six games this season, but he is still on pace to start in the 2014 NBA All-Star game.
The third All-Star voting returns have been released and Bryant has a comfortable lead among the other Western Conference back court players. Although it is unclear as to whether Bryant will be ready to play by February, the fans surely want to see him on the court.
The NBA’s official All-Star Weekend Twitter account released the info and shows that there isn’t much competition for Bryant’s starting spot:

Although being voted into the All-Star Game as a starter is a great accomplishment, Bryant has said he would like to see some of the younger players get the nod. The voting process is run by the fans so it is no surprise that one of the most exciting, and well known players is leading the votes.
Bryant has played in 15 NBA All-Star Games and was named MVP in four of those matches. Even though it is unfair that he has only played in six games and will be named an All-Star, everyone wants to see the Black Mamba on the court in New Orleans.
