Today on NBA.com, veteran NBA writer Shaun Powell wrote an intriguing article discussing his favorite team of all time. To Lakers Nation it should be no surprise that he picked the 1985 Lakers. This championship team was the epitome of ‘Showtime,’ and was a perfect example of the Los Angeles Machine that stormed through the NBA in the 1980’s.
Powell explains the reasoning behind his choice in the article, from their glitz and glam to their heart and guts that allowed them to overcome the ‘Memorial Day Massacre’ to defeat the Celtics in the NBA Finals.
