VIDEO: Steve Nash Deals With An Uncertain Future In “The Finish Line”
[new_royalslider id=”135″]

Last season was rough for veteran point guard Steve Nash as he suffered arguably the worst injury of his career and struggled to recover while trying to adjust to a different surrounding in Los Angeles. After a rigorous off-season dedicated to get back to form, Nash showed signs of promise of reclaiming that All-Star level of play, but it was long before the persistent injury problems began to flare up once again.

As a result of nerve issues in his back, the two-time NBA MVP appears to be closer to retirement than ever. Although the writing seems to be on the wall for the future Hall of Famer, Nash remains reluctant to call it a career before his contract expires with the Lakers after next season.

With Nash continuing to deal with the nerve issues after finally returning to the floor for the Lakers following an almost three-month absence, many believe it is over and it is finally time to announce his retirement.

Nash, as expected, refuses to let his body get the best of him. The veteran guard talks about his battle with injuries over the past two years and dealing with talk of his basketball career coming to an end in this video from Grantland.com called The Finish Line:
