All season long, the Los Angeles Lakers have struggled to finish games. Fourth quarter meltdowns have been a broken record for the first 20 games of the 2014-15 campaign. However, on Tuesday against the Kings, the Lakers came from behind and finished the game to earn their sixth win.

A big part of that fourth quarter comeback was Wayne Ellington replacing Jeremy Lin and moving Kobe Bryant to the point guard position. Now that Byron Scott is tampering with the lineup, he said that this is something that could happen again in the future according to Bleacher Report’s Kevin Ding

After practice on Wednesday, Scott says Kobe will be the point guard at times during two of the next three games according to Lakers Nation reporter Serena Winters:

The Lakers have had success this year when Kobe is looking to get everyone involved. Bryant racked up 10-plus assists in two straight victories against the Raptors and the Pistons. The team responds when its best player is willing to move the ball and trust his teammates.

The Lakers spacing seemed to be effective late in Tuesday’s win against the Kings. Bryant setting up the offense draws a lot of attention and allows shooters like Ellington, Nick Young and Wes Johnson to get open. Rather than Lin or Ronnie Price having to get him involved, Kobe can dictate the distribution.
