Candace Parker on Lakers- “We Would Demolish Them!”

Back in May, Anthony Davis, the No.1 overall draft pick in the 2012 draft, called out Kobe Bryant on The Dan Patrick Show, but the Kentucky native is no longer the only one to challenge Kobe Bryant this year. Los Angeles Sparks forward, Candace Parker can now be added to that dangerous list. The Olympic Gold medalist had a few strong and confident words to say about her L.A. Sparks team going up against the current Lakers roster.

“We would demolish them…name the time, place, we’re there.”

Kobe Bryant (6’6″) may have two inches and a few championship rings on Parker (6’4″), but it sounds like she’s been studying his moves for some time now.

“I know his little shimmy fade away jump shot…he likes to dip his shoulder a lot.”

All jokes aside, Parker is just as excited as the rest of the world to watch this Lakers squad. Besides being a huge fan of Steve Nash, Parker and Dwight Howard also went to the McDonald’s All American game together.

“It’s going to be fun to watch defensively…and how they dominate teams.”

And dominate [insert Dwight Howard’s teeth clenching deep domination voice here], is just what the Lakers are prepared to do.
