Derek Fisher Surpasses 10,000 Points in NBA Career

During the first quarter of Tuesday night’s game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Memphis Grizzlies, point guard Derek Fisher reached a scoring milestone when he surpassed 10,000 points.

Fisher entered the league back in 1996 as the Lakers’ first round pick out of Arkansas-Little Rock, and has won five NBA championships with the Lakers (2000-02, 09-10).

Fisher left Los Angeles to join the Golden State Warriors in 2004 where he played for two seasons before joining the Utah Jazz in 2006, before returning to the Lakers before the 2007-08 season.

In honor of Fisher reaching this impressive milestone, here’s my favorite D-Fish moment from his career. For those that don’t remember, it was Game 3 of the 2010 NBA Finals in Boston.
