The Los Angeles Lakers have announced their schedule and roster for the upcoming California Classic, to be held July 3-6 at Chase Center in San Francisco, and 2026 NBA Summer League, which will take place July 9-19 in Las Vegas at the Thomas & Mack Center.
As was reportedly to be the case, Lakers assistant coach Ty Abbott will serve as the team’s head coach this summer. Here is the full roster he will be coaching, which includes some familiar faces:

Abbott has a quality roster to work with, which is headlined by first-round draft pick Cameron Carr, who the team took with the 24th overall pick out of Baylor. As was expected as well, last year’s second round pick Adou Thiero will be suiting up for the Lakers. He was not able to play in Summer League last year due to a knee injury so will get his first chance to do so this year to show his progress on the court.
Chris Mañon, who was on a two-way contract with the Lakers last season, is also on the team. The Lakers recently gave him a two-way qualifying offer to make him a restricted free agent, signaling there is a solid chance he is back with the team next season, especially if he has a strong summer.
Thiero and Mañon both spent significant time with the South Bay Lakers in the G League last season, and they will be joined by some of their teammates this summer as Anton Watson, Arthur Kaluma and Luke Goode will all play for L.A.
The roster also features as pair of undrafted free agents that the Lakers signed to two-way contracts in AK Okereke and Peter Suder. A number of other undrafted rookies have joined the team as well.
