After a harsh blow out loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder last night, the Lakers have to deal with a Charlotte Bobcats squad on the second end of a back-to-back. The Lakers have not fared well on the end of a back-to-backs under Mike D’Antoni, and recent comments made by Pau Gasol has brought new life to the Gasol trade rumors. Gasol made comments that D’Antoni wasn’t utilizing Gasol in the post enough to maximize his effectiveness. After those comments were made, D’Antoni fired back at Pau, thus starting speculation for new trade rumors.

Look for Bryant to play at the point again tonight. He’ll need to turn down the turnovers and keep his assist numbers up.

Even with rumors spinning around, Gasol is not letting any distractions keeping him from giving a full effort in tonights game.

Rumors are starting to speculate all over the place with different teams and potential player swaps, but these rumors have been going on for years. Pau Gasol has been nothing but a true professional when it comes to dealing with these rumors.
