Kobe Bryant Injury Update: KB Expected to Miss 2 More Weeks

KobeBryant2Monday was a day full of injury updates for the Lakers. Some received good news (Pau Gasol, Jodie Meeks), others received bad news (Steve Nash, Xavier Henry). Some received expected news.

Kobe Bryant will miss at least two more weeks with his injured leg, with the news being broken by Bleacher Report’s Kevin Ding.

Bryant is expected to miss at least two more weeks, perhaps even another month.

As Ding also points out, L.A. is 4-16 since Bryant went down with a fractured tibia, so a few more weeks likely isn’t going to bring much change to Los Angeles, a team struggling to find consistency on both ends of the court.

But, for those on the tanking bandwagon, Bryant’s continued absence might be a blessing in disguise. As many look at it, the more losses the team can pile up right now, the higher chances of bringing in a top three pick in next June’s NBA Draft.

Regardless of one’s opinion on tanking and similar things, basketball is more fun with Bryant back on the court rather than stranded on the sidelines, so here’s to hoping he’s back in action sooner rather than later.
