Kobe Bryant On Coaching: ‘I Don’t Feel Like Dealing With Divas’

The writing appears to be on the wall regarding Kobe Bryant’s future after the 2015-16 NBA season. Bryant seems to be getting more comfortable with the prospect of retiring after his 20th year with the Los Angeles Lakers.

What will Kobe Bryant make this season? Find out here!

With Bryant’s playing days potentially coming to an end next summer, many have begun to wonder what’s next for the future Hall of Famer. Kobe has been asked a few times over the years whether he’d consider coaching and downplayed the notion on more than one occasion.

Kobe once again denied any interest in coaching once his playing days are officially over, via Mike Bresnahan of the Los Angeles Times.

While dealing with injuries that have kept him sidelined for extended periods of time over the past few seasons, Bryant seemed to enjoy mentoring the young players. The superstar started to get referred to as “Coach Kobe” during this time leading some to believe he may have an interesting in holding a clipboard further down the line.

Although Bryant may enjoy mentoring teammates and seeing young players progress, the five-time NBA champion obviously doesn’t have the patience to deal with egos that rival his own. This stance may change in the future with Kobe possibly getting the itch to close or being involved in the game in some form or another, but as of right now, he clearly has no desire to coach in the NBA.
