Kobe Bryant Sent for MRI on Tuesday

Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant was fouled hard by Miami Heat’s Dwyane Wade during the All-Star game and an MRI has confirmed that Kobe has a nasal fracture, ESPN Los Angeles reports.

At this point, Bryant’s status for the Lakers’ game versus the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday is uncertain. According to a Lakers team spokesman, Kobe’s chances of playing in the game are  “unknown at this time.”

However, based on Kobe and his ability to play through pain, don’t be shocked to see him on the court on Wednesday. Bryant has battled injuries throughout the years and he could have to wear a protective face mask if needed.

As for the Wade, who is the reason why this is all occurring, he told reporters that he apologized to Kobe during the game and later sent him a message.
