Jordan Farmar officially returned to the Lakers on Friday, holding his introductory press conference at the team practice facility in El Segundo. Farmar talked about how excited he was to join the Lakers, his defensive mentality, and his excitement about playing in Mike D’Antoni’s system. Following his press conference, Farmar opened a Twitter account and posted an Instagram picture of a greeting he received from his new (and old) teammate, Kobe Bryant.
The picture, seen below, had the caption “First Tweet! Feels good to be home! @kobebryant Appreciate the love! Can’t wait to get after it!!!”
Farmar spoke repeatedly about his excitement upon returning to the Lakers, and we’ll see just how big of an impact he’ll have when the team starts their new campaign in the fall.
Jordan joins Nick Young, Chris Kaman and Wesley Johnson as the new members of the Laker bench.
