Kobe To Coach Rapper And Ex-NFL Player In Celebrity All-Star Game

nba_g_kobe11_600On September 26 and 27, Kobe Bryant will be making a trip to Dubai for the “Kobe Bryant Health and Fitness Weekend.” The trip to Dubai will be the first time the Lakers star will make a trip to the Middle East.

The weekend will include various appearances by Bryant, which will include him coaching a celebrity all-star game. Two names have been announced for the game, and they include a rapper and ex-NFL player according to Alarabiya.net.

Scheduled to heat up Dubai in his first visit to the Middle East, basketball legend Kobe Bryant’s Weekend Celebrity game will see American rapper Soulja Boy and American football cornerback Kelly Errin Herndon take to the court, it was announced on Sunday.

Soulja Boy had a former number 1 hit “Crank That” and Herndon set the Super Bowl record for longest interception returned for a touchdown when he picked off Ben Roethlisberger for a 76-yard return. That record would be broken by the Steelers’ James Harrison three years later in Super Bowl XLIII against the Cardinals.

Bryant’s team will play against Barcelona in the celebrity all-star game.
