Along with facing the Nuggets twice, the Lakers will host the Sacramento Kings, Los Angeles Clippers and Golden State Warriors over the course of two weeks in different cities in California and Las Vegas.

Here is the full 2018-19 NBA preseason schedule:

9/30 | Nuggets | San Diego, CA | Valley View Casino Center | 6:30 pm

10/2 | Nuggets | Los Angeles, CA | STAPLES Center | 7:30 pm

10/4 | Kings | Los Angeles, CA | STAPLES Center | 7:30 pm

10/6 | Clippers | Anaheim, CA | Honda Center | 7:00 pm

10/10 | Warriors | Las Vegas, NV | T-Mobile Arena | 7:00 pm

Prior to the preseason, the Lakers will participate in the inaugural California Classic Summer League, which begins July 2 at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento. They will then take part in the Las Vegas Summer League, which begins July 6.

As the Western Conference Finals between the Houston Rockets and Warriors is set to begin, the Lakers are currently preparing for the 2018 NBA Draft and free agency.

With two draft picks and ample salary cap space to sign two max-contract players, there is great optimism for the storied franchise moving forward.

Although the offseason will provide fans an opportunity to watch the young core, the Lakers could look significantly different when the preseason officially begins.
