Injuries continue to be a problem for the Los Angeles Lakers with the backcourt missing Kobe Bryant, Steve Nash, Jordan Farmar, Xavier Henry and Steve Blake.

Fortunately, Blake made an appearance on the practice floor on Saturday. Blake was seen participating in 5-on-0 drills in practice with the team while in Toronto according to Serena Winters of LakersNation.com:

Although Blake was able to get some work in on Saturday, the veteran point guard was still only using his left arm. Blake’s elbow injury is on his shooting arm (right) and it restricts a lot of things he’s able to do on the basketball floor.

Along with Blake participating in practice, an update was given on Bryant’s status recently. Apparently, Bryant will be re-evaluated in February rather than Jan. 28 when he and Nash were both thought to possibly return against the visiting Indiana Pacers.

Timetables for Henry, Farmar and Nash remain uncertain moving forward. Henry will likely be the first to return out of all the currently injured Lakers, but that may change pending any setbacks.
