Lakers Legend Kobe Bryant Receives Retirement Gift From Snoop Dogg

Throughout his farewell tour with the Los Angeles Lakers, Kobe Bryant was fortunate enough to be anointed with a number of spectacular gifts from teams across the league. Now that he is retired, Kobe is still receiving some gifts, including one from the one-and-only Snoop Dogg.

A Long Beach native, Snoop has long been a Lakers fan and was even there to witness Kobe’s 60-point performance to end his legendary career. So naturally, he spared no expense to gift Kobe in way that only Snoop can, via Kobe Bryant’s Official Twitter:

The low rider even came with a custom design of Kobe among fellow Lakers legends on the hood, via Snoop Dogg’s Instagram:

Despite now being retired, Kobe has hardly been out of the spotlight. Kobe has appeared in multiple commercials including one for the new Ghostbusters movie. He also starred and narrated a number of spots for the recent Copa America Centenario tournament in addition to all of the work he puts into his company, Kobe Inc.

As a part of the Los Angeles Lakers for 20 years, anyone who was a fan of the Lakers was undoubtedly affected by Kobe throughout the years. Kobe had such an illustrious career filled with ups and downs, championships, and amazing moments. Now that he is gone there is a huge hole in the hearts of Lakers fans everywhere.

He certainly deserves of all of the gifts and honors he has received and a beautiful car like the one he received from Snoop is unique, but certainly special.

Although he has now officially switched careers, don’t be surprised to see if Kobe is still honored every now and then for his days as one of the greatest players in history.
