Lakers Nation Week in Review: Jun. 29- Jul. 6

dwightuniformsThe “Dwightmare” is finally over as the All-Star center has decided to join the Houston Rockets.

The Lakers tried their best to convince Howard to re-sign with the team, but it always seemed as though his mind was set for Texas. Los Angeles put up billboards all over the city, but at the end of the day, Howard became the first player to ever willingly leave the Lakers and an extra $30 million on the table.

Now that news has come out that Howard will not be coming back to the Lakers, the front office must move on and prepare for the future. It was another hectic seven days in Laker Land, and here is a week in review.

Howard left California to make his decision.
