Lakers News: Jordan Farmar Discusses His Return From Injury
Farmar

With the 145-130 loss to the Houston Rockets on Tuesday night, the Los Angeles Lakers suffered their worst defensive performance of the regular season.

The Lakers were shorthanded once again en route to their 53rd loss of the year. The team was playing without Pau Gasol, Chris Kaman, Xavier Henry, and Kent Bazemore.

Despite all the injuries, Jordan Farmar was one player that was able to return last night from his latest injury. And according to Lakers Nation reporter Serena Winters, Farmar said he felt great physically and did not suffer any setbacks:

After a 10-game absence with a strained groin, Farmar was able to finish with 15 points, eight assists, and five rebounds in 27 minutes on the floor.

Recently the 27-year-old stated that he hopes to stay with the Lakers for a long time when he becomes a free agent this summer. In this season filled with doubt, Farmar has been one of the consistent bright spots for the Lakers when healthy.

Along with Farmar, several other members from the roster have also expressed their desire to remain with the Lakers once free agency hits. With only four games left, the team is solely focused on evaluating their young talent and seeing what players they’d like to keep this upcoming off-season.
