Lakers News: Magic Johnson Tells Howard to “Stop Complaining”

The Los Angeles Lakers are having problems finding their identity, and their putrid record shows that this team is no where close to championship form.

The Lakers franchise is used to winning championships, and is one that does not accept mediocrity. Lakers legend Magic Johnson has been very active on Twitter and he has been constantly critiquing this Lakers team with his account. After the Lakers’ loss to the Denver Nuggets Sunday night, Johnson used Twitter to voice his opinions on the team.

The Lakers are struggling this season and as of this point, they are three games out of the eight spot in the Western Conference. The players are not performing as a cohesive unit and the chemistry on the court seems to be lacking. On top of that, the Lakers aren’t playing with any intensity and they tend to only play hard in the final quarter.

As for Howard, he has not been very efficient on the offensive end and his post moves are quite limited. Nevertheless, Howard needs to find other ways to be effective from the paint and start dominating like he used to when he was with the Orlando Magic.

The Lakers will hope to snap this three game losing streak Tuesday night when they head to Houston to play the young Rockets team.
