It may be only a matter of time between now and the NBA trade deadline on Thursday that Jordan Hill is dealt to the Brooklyn Nets. Although the Nets will have to take a $17 million hit as a result of absorbing Hill’s $3.5 million contract, Brooklyn seems willing to do so according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports:

Trading Hill to the Nets could be the first of multiple moves made by the Lakers before the deadline. Rumors have circulated around the league over the last 24 hours about the Lakers and Dallas Mavericks targeting Kevin Love, but few believe Love is going anywhere until he becomes a free agent in the summer of 2015.

Although Love might not be on the move right now, a few other Lakers might headed elsewhere along with Hill before 3 p.m. ET tomorrow. Pau Gasol is without a doubt the biggest name that could be headed out of Los Angeles at some point in the next day or so, but Chris Kaman and Steve Blake have also been mentioned as potential candidates to be traded.

It’s difficult to tell which deals may ultimately go down, but at this point in time it appears that Hill seems the most likely to be traded before tomorrow’s deadline.
