Lakers News: Pau Gasol Posts Video Of Workout From Knee Rehab

Pau Gasol will be featured once again as the primary option in the paint for the Lakers next season. After a couple of seasons being pushed away from his comfort zone, Gasol will be returning to the center position. Most believe this will elevate his game next season after performing in his arguably worst season of his career in 2012-13.

Another expectation from Gasol is that he will be entering the season with his health at, or at least very close, to 100 percent. After a season plagued with knee and foot problems last year, Gasol had procedures on both knees last May to relieve knee tendinitis. Gasol is still busy rehabbing from the procedures in Spain, and he recently posted and update on Twitter, which included a video from his workout:

Gasol is not at 100 percent health yet, but as you can see in the Vine video above, he is well on his way. Gasol will once again be an essential piece for the Lakers, and their chances to compete will be affected by how productive and effective he is.

That is why his health is so vital next season. His health will be critical for individual reasons as well, as next season is the final year on his contract.

A lot is unknown for the team next season, but Gasol is preparing to bring his game back to the level of where it was during his back-to-back championship years with the Lakers.
