Lakers News: Steve Nash Leaves Game With Left Leg Contusion

After colliding with rookie Damian Lillard in Wednesday night’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers, Steve Nash headed to the locker room with a contusion in the lower left leg according to Mike Trudell of Lakers.com via Twitter:

 

 

The Los Angeles Lakers’ 38-year-old newcomer tried to get back on the floor after suffering the injury, but after one trip down the floor was noticeably limping and was taken out of the game by Lakers Coach Mike Brown. Veteran point guard Steve Blake replaced Nash.

The two-time NBA MVP finished the night with two points, four assists and four rebounds in 16 minutes on the floor.
